At False Creek Residence the rate is determined by the continuing care program and is based on income. For a person in receipt of BC Benefits it is currently $715 per month. At Steveston Residence, tenants pay rent based on income for a one bedroom suite and the costs for support services are again based on income.

Q: Where do RILS operating dollars come from?

Our operating funds come from a combination of sources, including Vancouver Coastal Health Authority, Richmond Health Services, BC Housing and the rent that our tenants pay. Many of the additional services we provide our tenants, such as camping trips, come from donations from our community, business and private supporters.
